Tax Advisory Administrator/ Study Support/ Administration/ Career Progression/ Excellent Benefits/ Company Bonus

This is a newly created role for my South Manchester based client, who due to increased business demands now need to increase their Tax administration team.

This role will be ideal for somebody who has office based administration experience and an interest in developing within a tax/ accounting career. Training will be provided in addition to a full study support package.

Job Description:

  • Support the Tax Advisory team with; systems, processing and reporting
  • Written and telephone communication with a broad database of clients – building and developing client relationships
  • Liaising with HM revenue and customs
  • General financial administration
  • Responding to and resolving tax advisory queries
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with clients regarding the completion of; the closing tax review report, personal tax planning and liquidations
  • Maintenance of company spreadsheets and reports for the management team
  • Management of team post and scanning
  • Monitoring and clearing the tax team email inbox
  • Taking payments for closing and tax advisory fees
  • Collating, recording and dispatch of VAT de-registration fees to HMRC and Companies House
  • Preparing and issuing tax advisory documentation


  • Previous experience within an office based administration role
  • Desire to develop in a Tax based role
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Be able to work to target in a fast paced environment, managing multiple processes simultaneously
  • Problem solving ability
  • Confident and self-motivated persona
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Positive and motivated approach to duties
