NC Associates are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join an award-winning organisation based in Chester. You will be joining a fast-paced team and will be responsible for accurate processing of the sales ledger functions, reporting into the Finance Manager.

Job Description:

  • Generating a high volume of sales invoices
  • Generating credit notes as required
  • Allocation of cash received to relevant accounts
  • Reporting of outstanding debtor balances to the Accounts Manager
  • Proactive chasing of overdue payments
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers – especially key business accounts
  • Updating the sales ledger with payments received
  • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date sales ledger on accounting systems including Sage

Essential Experience Required

To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role – 2 year’s minimum
  • Resilient with a proactive approach, determination and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • High level of attention to detail
