I am currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for a well established local company. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience on the accounts payable side of the ledger along with general accounts duties.
- Reconciling purchase ledger accounts
- Bank Reconciliations
- Chasing suppliers for missing invoices
- Financial analysis
- Ensuring all invoices are coded to correct suppliers and nominal ledger account
- Extensive accounts receivable experience – minimum of 5 years
- Higher end user of excel – pivot tables & vlookups
- Retail experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong problem solving skills
- Exposure to P & L
- Understanding of capital costs etc.
