NC Associates are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a reputable business based in Preston. They are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy and supportive Finance function. As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be reporting into the Financial Controller.

Duties

  • Invoice scanning into the accounting system
  • Invoice coding
  • Nominal ledger postings
  • Reconciliation of purchase ledger to nominal ledger
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Payment processing including month end payment runs
  • Bank statement postings and reconciliation
  • Liaising with vendors and performing new vendor set up

Essential Experience Required

To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience

  • Previous experience in a similar Purchase Ledger role
  • A self-starter with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Excel skills including v look ups & pivot tables
  • Ability to work towards deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure, efficiently and accurately
