Manufacturing Financial Controller – Permanent- Full time – Outstanding Salary and Benefits Package – Based in Lancashire
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead a Manufacturing Operations Finance team.
The role involves supporting Manufacturing in delivering its annual financial objectives, driving through and validating numerous business improvement and investment programmes, financial scrutiny of potential strategic decisions and being an integral part of the development of systems solutions for the Manufacturing to Finance ERP interfaces.
Providing financial expertise and guidance in ensuring Manufacturing delivers it annual financial objectives.
Compilation of financial forecasts in support of both annual budgets and 5-year integrated business plans.
Ensuring investments and business cases are financially robust.
Financial support to strategic improvement initiatives.
Supporting the compilation of project-based estimate at completions which will include UPC management and reporting.
Developing the Manufacturing to Financial business processes interfaces in support of a major ERP system and supporting the delivery of S4 HANA.
Management of foreign exchange hedges and forward cash forecasting, Managing and developing the Manufacturing Finance team, Working as part of an international Finance team, join a great team who are welcoming and supportive.
Management of a small team focused on controlling costs for 800+ people and over £70m of direct costs. Representing the financial interests within the senior Manufacturing Management team Knowing that the service provided makes a difference in achieving the overall performance targets.

What we’re looking for
A qualified or part qualified accountant with experience within a large manufacturing-based environment, SAP expert and with a significant exposure to S4HANA and associated Manufacturing Execution System.
The candidate should have a proven track in delivering both process improvements, financial reporting mechanisms and Manufacturing based Performance measures and metrics and solid leadership.
High levels of commitment and integrity and an ambition to drive the business forward.
A commitment to continuous improvement and an ability to generate meaningful and effective KPI’s.
Ability to travel within the UK and across Europe.
