Interim Facilities Project Manager / Cardiff / £42,000 – £45,000 / Contract / Excellent Opportunities including homeworking
An essential national organisation with various sites throughout the UK, is looking to recruit a skilled Facilities Manager to help implement two large projects . As part of the Project Delivery team, you will be leading the delivery of estates capital projects from inception to completion across various sites in Wales.
You will ensure that the needs and expectations of all stakeholders are met and the projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the agreed quality standards. Alongside this will be the development of Business Cases, working in conjunction with project teams n addition to Estates & Facilities colleagues.
Elements of the role will include:
- Planning and managing statutory planned maintenance within a large property portfolio
- liaison with procurement staff / teams to agree framework suppliers for planned maintenance
- Identify and put in place specifications and tenders where non availability of government framework suppliers exist
The ideal candidate will have experience of being in a similar position, have experience of managing reactive maintenance, and effective communication and interpersonal skills to work within a small Estates Team
