Accounts Department Manager/Finance Manager / Salary £30,000 – £35,000 + Benefits / Liverpool City Centre / Leading Organisation / Permanent Position

NC Associates are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Department Manager/Finance Manager to work for a leading organisation based in Liverpool. My client is looking to recruit a Accounts Department Manager/Finance Manager on a permanent basis, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the existing team, processes and procedures and will report into the Director/Corporate Accountant

Duties

  • Assisting with the maintenance and preparation of bank reconciliations on the client and office accounts
  • Manage cash flow reports daily
  • Assist in maintaining fixed asset register and depreciation journal
  • Deal with month end processes
  • Managing the purchase ledger and dealing with suppliers as necessary
  • Residual balances and client suspense
  • Supervision of the company credit card
  • Managing out of date cheques
  • Liaising with the bank
  • Assist with Audit reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and maintenance of the breach register

Essential Experience Required

To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience

  • Previous experience supervising/managing a team
  • Compliant with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with people throughout all levels of the organisation
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
