Job Role

We’re looking for an experienced accountant to join our Financial Control Team as our new Finance Manager. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead our Mortgage and Savings corporate planning consolidation process to ensure all accounting entries fit together and make sure the control framework process is accurately followed.

With an eye for detail, you’ll also deliver informative MI to our Executive Committee and Board members in order to support strategic decision making.

Duties

You’ll work closely with our Mortgage and Savings division to govern and co-ordinate the financials of the Corporate Plan. With monthly monitoring you’ll explain movements and variances along with analysing the net interest margin, making sure senior stakeholders understand the messages you provide.

With a strategic lens, you will review and challenge the Corporate Plan and any re forecasts to ensure any assumptions fit in with our overall strategy.

You will also lead the analyst which we have in the team, so you’ll have regular coaching conversations and performance reviews whilst also supporting their personal development.

Experience Required

Home based but we will consider candidates from most areas of the country with an ideal location on West or North Yorkshire but will include: Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield, Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Bristol, Leicester, Newcastle, Wakefield, York, Harrogate, Preston.
