My globally operating and market leading client require the skills of a Credit Controller to join their team to enhance cash collection and allocation.

I am keen to speak with candidates who have experience within a fast paced environment and are accustomed to managing large ledgers. This role will suit a proactive and ambitious person who has the ability to adapt to business changes and learn new processes quickly. This will initially be a temporary position (Minimum 3 Months) with the view to converting to a permanent contract. This will be a varied role and applicants will ideally have all round accounts receivable experience including previous exposure to; key accounts credit control, cash allocation and cash management.

Job Description:

  • Controlling a multi-million pound business ledger
  • Proactive chasing of outstanding balances of varying amounts via email and telephone
  • Using vendor portals for remittances, approved invoices and queries
  • Maintaining relationships with customers
  • Resolving any associated account queries
  • Creating and maintaining good working relationships with national branches
  • Reducing aged and current debt – Reporting to line manager regarding development
  • Working to cash targets in a fast paced and busy environment
  • Supporting with cash allocation as required
  • Reconciliation and resolution of unallocated cash
  • Management of blue chip accounts
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with key customers
  • Reporting on cash figure
  • Management of factored accounts
  • Supporting with credit insurance


  • Previous exposure to accounts receivable and credit control processes
  • Previous management of key customer accounts
  • Proactive and motivated work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills
