Assistant Accountant / £28,000 – £30,000 / Liverpool / Excellent Benefits including Study Support / Development Opportunities / Permanent

NC Associates are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on behalf of our client based in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who will be joining a leading UK organisation who are offering career development opportunities. As the Assistant Accountant you will be part of a small team reporting directly to the Financial Controller

Duties:

• Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
• Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques
• Bank reconciliations
• Accruals & prepayments
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Weekly reporting
• Production reports

Essential Experience Required:

• Experience in a similar Accounts role
• Studying towards AAT
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Strong Excel skills
