Accounts Payable Role

NC Associates are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation in Manchester City Centre to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong Accounts Payable experience to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a key role in managing supplier queries as well as supplier reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing high volumes of supplier invoices quickly and accurately
Managing the full purchase ledger function, including matching, batching, and coding invoices
Ensuring timely supplier payments while maintaining strong relationships
Investigating and resolving supplier queries and discrepancies
Assisting with bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting the finance team with month-end closing processes
Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Providing general finance support as required

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ Previous experience in an Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger role
✔️ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
✔️ Strong understanding of invoice processing and supplier reconciliations
✔️ Excellent Excel skills and experience using finance systems
✔️ Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high-volume workload
✔️ Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams
✔️ A proactive and team-focused attitude
