Accounts Assistant Role Overview
NC Associates are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a company based in St Helens. You will be working as part of a small team and be responsible for managing the purchase ledger process, reporting into the Financial Controller.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
- Posting and allocating receipts
- Raising invoices for their domestic customers
- Processing company credit card expenditure
Accounts Assistant Experience Required
- Proven experience in Purchase Ledger
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
