An award winning service company, based in Blackpool is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant / Payroller. Working closely with the Finance Director on the day to day running of the business and other businesses linked to the company. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills further whilst working in an exciting environment.

The key elements of the role include:

  • Processing the full payroll for a variety of companies working with the business. This includes weekly and monthly payruns
  • Process furlough claims
  • Dealing with pension and autoenrolement
  • Processing invoices
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Dealing with queries
  • Processing VAT returns
  • General account administration

The ideal candidate will have experience of being in a similar role, an up to date working knowledge of payroll legislation and strong understanding of payroll systems. For example, Sage, Iris etc.
