A national service company, based in Macclesfield, is looking to recruit a skilled Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. A recent acquisition and continued growth in sales has led to this exciting new position. The role will involve working closely with the Finance Manager and assisting with month end processes as well as transactions. This is a great opportunity to become part of a market leading business and develop your skills further.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the tasks will include:
- Weekly & monthly sales reports
- Accruals & prepayments
- Purchase ledger
- Credit control
- Stock Analysis
- Preparing stock documentation
- Forecasting reports
- Completely month end reporting
The ideal candidate will have similar experience of being in a similar role within a fast paced organisation, excellent reporting skills and a pro-active work ethic. A strong understanding of excel and sage would be advantageous.
